Treefrog Climbing AdventuresAfter Treefrog’s participation in Winkworth Arboretum’s inaugural Live Local, Love Winkworth last year and because of the tremendous amount of climbers who had a go at tree climbing,The National Trust team at Winkworth decided to organise a day dedicated solely to recreational tree climbing this year.

So the team travelled up once again to Surrey to the majestic Arboretum.

It was a very well organised and well publicised day with over 80 climbers and some were even veteran climbers from last year. They all agreed the effort they showed in ascending the tree was definitely worth it once they were laid out in one of Treefrog’s famous hammocks soaking up the views and listening to the dawn chorus within the canopy of a beautiful Oak tree in a stunning location.

Thanks to Mike and all the team at Winkworth, we look forward to hosting another tree climbing day in 2012 the Olympic year.
